Custom Workshop on Curriculum Design for Environmental Equity

Service Provided:
Ranger Rabbit designed and facilitated a custom workshop for teachers tasked with creating a district-wide curriculum focused on environmental equity.

Our Approach:
We guided three teacher teams through a hands-on framework for developing curriculum. Through collaborative sessions and strategic support, each team practiced and refined their approach.

The Impact:
The result was a fully developed environmental equity curriculum, now available for use across all K–12 grade levels in Jefferson County Public Schools—creating the potential to reach every student in the district.

What They’re Saying:
Testimonial from Lauren Niemann, High School Environmental Science Teacher for Jefferson County Public Schools

“Carolyn helped me better understand the academic origins of place-based learning - a mainstay in my learning experiences with my ecology and sustainability students.

I love how Carolyn facilitates her participants' learning in an applied way by engaging them in the same learning experiences she hopes others will put into practice.

I highly suggest working with Carolyn and am grateful for every opportunity to work with her. She is a very knowledgeable and intentional professional who does an exquisite job of translating academic research into immediately useable and practical tools for her clients.”

Imagine what’s possible for your organization.
